With my final year of high school coming to an end I feel so much pressure. There still so much to do with so little time, reality has set in. There is still my main classes I have to finish such as English,Econ,Geometry and my career pathway which is residential construction. I am currently trying to catch up on all my work, I know I am behind but I'm not going to let all my work over the years slip away so easy i'm going to put in hard hours to catch up.
Knowing this is my final year and only months left to complete everything it is so much stress and so much to live up to. Everyone is looking forward for me to succeed and I have so much planned and looking forward to doing. First of all im looking forward to graduating despite all the work i need to do there is a lot to do. Im also looking forward to being an adult and making my own decisions. I really think i'm ready to face the real world knowing it's going to be a challenge but no matter how hard things are i'm sure I can handle it. Who knows what the future holds for me but if things go as planned and I go to college for two years and then become a correctional officer so that I can be successful and work on the career I always wanted.
For post graduation i've been trying to apply for grants and also trying to get a job so that I can pay for some of my college classes. Im also going to look around the COS campus and i am most likely going to attend two years their. I can't wait until I go their because it is the next step of my life and its a big step to becoming my own individual and becoming more independent which I think you need to become your own person.
With all the hard work i've done i'm most grateful for all the staff at LHS that has helped me throughout my high school year. I'm happy I was able to meet all of them they have been a great help to me in getting me the education that i need and spending all the hours to teach me and also all the time spent after school to clarify things on each assignment. I truly appreciate all the hard work just to make sure each assignment is turned in on time and always pushing us to do better things not to just settle on a passing grade. I also am grateful for all the teachers that never gave up on me and taking the time to go over assignments and helping me to understand more clearly. Im most grateful for my dad for always being so positive even though he is a single parent he always has my back and has gave up everything so that I have the necessary tools I need to succeed.
